A documentary short about human trafficking, and a woman‘s journey back to Taiwan to find her birth family.
After searching for years to uncover her real identity an NY woman who was trafficked as a baby, travels to Taiwan to piece together the mosaic of her life.
Kuo’s adoption story has been documented in the show 60 Minutes, and Fantasy in the 1980s. Her adoptive mother Mary also written a best selling book called “A Snowball in Hell” based on her experience in adopting Kuo from Taiwan.
From April - July 2023, Kuo’s journey back home has been picked up by Spectrum News in the States and more than 20 news channels in Taiwan. She was also featured in a documentary YouTube channel, which reached 272k views to this day.
